About the treatment
The long-pulsed 1064nm Nd:YAG wavelength penetrates deepest of all common aesthetic lasers, heating unwanted blood vessels and causing them to collapse and be reabsorbed — while its deep reach keeps the surrounding skin safe.
Because of its depth and low melanin interaction, Nd:YAG is also the vascular treatment of choice for deeper skin tones where IPL carries higher risk. It calms diffuse redness, clears visible capillaries and treats underlying vascular drivers of rosacea-type flushing.
What it treats
- Broken capillaries
- Diffuse facial redness
- Rosacea-type flushing
- Spider veins (face & legs)
- Vascular spots
- Underlying redness drivers
How it works
The process, step by step.
- 01
Map
Vessels and redness zones are mapped and settings chosen for your skin tone.
- 02
Coagulate
Pulses of 1064nm energy heat the target vessels, leaving the skin surface unharmed.
- 03
Clear
Treated vessels collapse and are cleared by the body over the following weeks.
Is this right for me?
Long-Pulsed Nd:YAG suits you if you're…
Suitability is always confirmed at your consultation and skin analysis before any treatment is booked.
- Visible capillaries on the face, nose or cheeks
- Persistent redness or flushing that makeup can't cover
- Darker skin tones needing a safer vascular option
Questions
Everything you might ask.
Does it hurt?
A warm snapping sensation with each pulse. No numbing is usually needed, and cooling keeps discomfort low.
Will the redness come back?
Treated vessels are permanently cleared, but new vessels can form over time — especially with rosacea. Maintenance sessions keep skin calm.
