About the treatment
RF Microneedling combines traditional microneedling with radiofrequency energy delivered directly into the dermis through the needle tips. The RF energy heats collagen fibres from within, producing a significantly more powerful skin tightening and remodelling effect than needling alone.
It is particularly effective for deeper acne scarring, enlarged pores and skin laxity — treating structure and surface in a single session.

The technology
Two mechanisms, one remodelling signal.
Mechanical stimulation
Fine needles enter the skin at controlled depths, creating precise micro-channels through the epidermis and into the dermis.
This controlled injury triggers the skin's natural wound-healing cascade — growth factors are released and new collagen and elastin are laid down over the following weeks.
Radiofrequency energy
RF energy is delivered through the needle tips directly into targeted dermal tissue, generating controlled heat where it matters most.
Thermal energy contracts existing collagen fibres immediately and stimulates fibroblasts to produce new, higher-quality collagen over the following months.
The purpose: controlled thermal and mechanical stimulation supporting tissue remodelling — tightening, smoothing and rebuilding the skin's underlying structure from within.

Important: the Salmon DNA-derived product does not create the RF remodelling effect. RF Microneedling remains the primary treatment responsible for controlled dermal stimulation — the recovery step supports the skin around it.

Is it painful?
A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand. Most clients describe warmth and pressure rather than pain.
How is it different to skin needling?
Standard needling stimulates collagen mechanically. RF adds controlled heat at depth, producing far greater tightening and scar remodelling.
What is recovery like?
Expect 24–48 hours of mild redness and warmth, similar to sunburn. Makeup can usually be worn after 24 hours.
What is the Salmon DNA recovery step?
An optional post-procedure step using skincare containing purified polynucleotide or DNA-derived fractions from salmon, which may support hydration, recovery and barrier condition after microneedling. It supports the skin — the RF treatment itself remains what stimulates remodelling. We only offer it where the formulation is approved and appropriate for use after microneedling.
How is the depth chosen?
Needle depth and RF energy are adjusted to each area and concern — shallower for surface texture and pores, deeper where scarring or laxity call for it — based on anatomy, scar depth, skin thickness and your treatment objective.
